Wrapped by Alissa

Hi I'm Alissa and I love a good bow.

As a kid, I found total satisfaction in a perfectly creased paper corner sealed with invisible double sided scotch tape. As an adult, I imagined a gift wrap maker space—a place for creatively inclined, but perhaps organizationally challenged, people to wander in and discover their Inner Wrapper.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in LA (Hamilton High School alum), I’ve followed my passions throughout my life. I studied art and design in university, founded a boutique dot com agency in NYC, created a tea brand and opened retail spaces in NYC and LA. 

I love bringing people together, serving well, expressing myself with color, drinking tea, and playing backgammon. Many hours of my week are spent at the ceramic studio and walking Hunter, my Irish Terrier. 

Wrapture is a work in progress built for the creatives, dreamers, self-starters and entrepreneurs around me. It’s a joy to create and share this studio and gather space. I see you. Come say hi.
